Louis Barbier
Louis is a shareholder engagement specialist with close to 20 years’ experience. He has supported over 100 companies in reaching their objectives ahead of critical annual/special shareholder meetings, including some of the most high-profile activist situations in Europe. He developed his consulting skills in top-tier London strategy houses, starting with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). Louis holds a degree from the Neoma Business School and a Master in Law.
Estelle Guichard
Estelle’s areas of expertise include corporate governance, shareholder activism, and shareholder engagement. Estelle has been advising listed companies on governance issues in Europe for the past 15 years after serving as an investor relations consultant for 6 years, where she developed an in-depth knowledge of the financial community in Europe. She holds a Master’s from Tours-Poitiers Business & Management School.
Ali Saribas
Ali is a corporate governance and activism specialist with over 20 years’ experience. Ali started off as a research analyst at the Investor Responsibility Research Center (IRRC) in Washington DC. In 2009, Ali moved to London to work with Institutional Shareholder Services (ISS) to cover the UK market as well as help set-up the contentious M&A/Activism team to cover the UK and continental Europe. Ali is currently a member of International Corporate Governance Network’s Global Policy Committee. Ali has a dual undergraduate degree in Finance and Economics from the George Washington University and an Executive Masters in Business Administration from Bayes Business School.
Marine Esperandieu
Marine has been advising listed companies on institutional investor behavior and preferences on sustainability issues for close to 5 years. Marine previously worked as an sustainability and govenrnace analyst at Covéa Finance, where she was involved with the integration of sustainability issues within the investment process. Marine also held various positions at Airbus, the European multinational aerospace corporation, within its Investor Relations and Corporate Secretariat departments. At Airbus, Marine developed an in-depth knowledge of board matters, corporate transparency, and corporate governance issues. Marine holds a master’s degree in finance from the European Business School, Paris.
Andrew Brady
Andrew is a Director within our shareholder activism team. He has a growing track record of supporting on some of the largest non-US activism situations, and regularly leads on activism research publications. Andrew has a strong foundation in corporate governance processes from his previous roles in internal and external audit, where he also qualified as an ICAEW chartered accountant. He holds a Master’s degree in Theoretical Physics from the University of St Andrews.
Carmen Ng
Carmen started her career as a corporate sustainability consultant in Hong Kong. There, she worked with private and non-profit sector clients to assess their social and environmental impacts across the value chain, as well as support on sustainability integration and reporting. Carmen holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and a Master’s degree in Corporate Environmental Governance from the University of Hong Kong.
Caroline Potier
Caroline is an experienced financial services executive who started her career as an M&A advisor in Paris, France. Caroline spent six years in Asia as a business development executive and most recently as a Business Controller at Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy Watch & Jewellery’s (LVMH W&J) Hong Kong office. Caroline holds a Master’s in Finance from EDHEC Business School.
Tom Belt
Tom graduated with a MSc in Marketing Analytics and Data Science from Groningen University, the Netherlands. While abroad, Tom also gained analyst experience working for Nielsen. Previously, Tom gained a Bachelors of Economics and Business Management from Newcastle University. During his studies Tom has covered a wide range of topics, including sustainability.
Eli Bouterakos
Eli’s expertise encompasses investment analysis, data science, project management, and financial technology. Throughout his career, Eli has demonstrated a strong ability to lead high-impact projects, manage portfolios, and drive client strategies to fruition. In leadership roles at Iress and Vanguard, Eli played a crucial part in on-boarding institutional clients and ensuring seamless compliance with investment mandates. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Business from La Trobe University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) Charterholder.
Dalva Drouet
Dalva most recently served as a Corporate M&A and Private Equity Trainee at Reed Smith. She holds a specialized Master’s degree in Law and International Management from HEC Paris and a Master’s in Business Law from Paris-Panthéon-Assas University. Dalva has gained experience through various internships and roles, including at Proxinvest (now part of Glass Lewis) and AXA Partners, where she focused on corporate law, governance, and sustainability analysis.
Robert Elphick
Robert possesses extensive expertise in corporate governance and sustainability practices across diverse markets. At a leading global proxy advisory firm, he played a pivotal role in refining research methodologies and performed comprehensive analyses of companies’ governance frameworks and sustainability disclosures. His deep insights equip him to offer strategic, data-driven advice to clients. Robert holds an MA in Global Development from Queen Mary University of London, UK.
Antonin Estrade
Prior to joining SquareWell, Antonin worked in social enterprises and cooperatives, mainly focusing on social impact analysis. Antonin is now focusing on governance and sustainability subjects and holds a Bachelor in Economics and Management at CY Cergy Paris University and a Master in Management of Sustainable and Social Enterprises at HEC Liège.
India Hale
India earned her degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Leicester, where she built a solid foundation in sustainability and environmental issues. During her time there, she completed Carbon Literacy Training and leveraged this knowledge to assist a local company in enhancing its carbon neutrality. Additionally, she gained experience as an Associate Consultant, specializing in senior hires within the renewable energy sector.
Chinguun Nyambat
Chinguun worked as an Analyst in Capital Group and Legal & General, where he focused on investment stewardship, GHG reporting and shareholder engagement, amongst others. Chinguun has comprehensive financial and public/private-sector sustainability integration knowledge and has advised on sizeable investments with a sustainability angle. Chinguun holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management with Finance from the University of Warwick, UK.
Rosalie Owen
Rosalie holds an MSc in Sustainability and Management from the University of Bath. During her master’s program, she served as a consultant for Lloyds Banking Group, providing advice on sustainability-related legislation. Before pursuing her master’s degree, Rosalie earned a BA in Human, Social, and Political Sciences from the University of Cambridge.
Iris Rouet
Iris focuses on institutional investors’ sensitivities on environmental and social topics, investment decision-making structures, and engagement dynamics. She has extensive experience in investor engagement services in Europe, having worked on a number of high-profile cross-border assignments. Iris holds a degree in Languages and Modern Literature from The Sapienza University of Rome.
Will Samuels
Will graduated from the MSc Management programme at Imperial College Business School. He has experience with incorporating sustainability factors into equity analysis for the Imperial Student Fund, as well as worked as a junior consultant for Shell, helping them decarbonise their supply chain. Will also has an interdisciplinary background, studying for his BSc in Architecture & Civil Engineering from the University of Bath before commencing his Master’s studies.
